for the record:

It's 11:05 on Christmas Eve and about 65 degrees outside--and, surprisingly enough, I love it. Yeah yeah yeah, white Christmas, yeah yeah yeah, snowflakes Frosty Santa in the snow, whatever. Guess what? I'm not afraid to go outside and look at the stars, and we just came in from a Christmas Eve bonfire. Viva la Louisiane! I could get used to this.

Merry Christmas, everyone! I wish I could just sweep up all the people I love and squeeze us all into a fireplace-y, Christmas tree-d house somewhere and all be together on this most anticipation-filled night of the year to celebrate Jesus' birthday with a big, laughing, oh-my-gosh I-ate-way-too-much party. Barring that, happy, happy Christmas! Peace on earth and goodwill to y'all.

And happy 25th birthday Scott, on the 25th.

And happy 1st wedding anniversary to me and Scott on the 22nd.

Yay December!

Snow is beautiful, but really, I'm so over seasons. I hope you have a wonderful, warm(ish) Christmas.

I agree with the White Christmas thing... Waking up to the sound of the ocean on Christmas morning was definitely to my liking :).
