to do list

...because maybe if I write it down, I'll do it. (?)

• Clean the house before the families (both mine & Scott's) descend upon us tomorrow and Friday.
• Get stuff packed--today, tomorrow, and Monday are my last chances before Moving Day (a week from tomorrow).
• Find money somewhere with which to buy textbooks.
• Buy textbooks.
• Get our address changed--bank, post office, etc. etc. etc.
• Call the power company to give them a shutoff day.
• Call the landlord and talk him into prorating our rent for this month.
• Stop daydreaming about decorating our new apartment with all the spare cash I don't have lying around.
• Buy milk.
• Book a motel for our trip to Vegas with William.
• Get mine & Scott's new blog up and rolling.

Note how that last item is the least important and, unlike any of the others, has no due date. Note also how I have absolutely no self-discipline. Guess what I'm off to do...?
