Kids say the darndest things

Me: "Who can name one of the plays that Shakespeare wrote?"

Student: "James and the Giant Peach?"

Student in the cafeteria: "Look how crowded we are at our table, Mrs. Matheson! It's like we're in a neutrino star!"

Student: "Okay, I've gone brain loss. How do you spell bird?"

Me: "B-I-R-D."

Student, stomping foot: "Gosh! I spelled it wrong both times!"
